Yes, you read that right.
Take children for example, they learn walking by making mistakes hundreds if not thousand times until they get it right.
They don’t give up. Not even thinking about failure.
All they do is keep trying, keep going forward. Not questioning the process. Now, how is that relevant to fitness, you ask?
Society conditioned us to make things easy and to choose the easy road. On the easy road however, there are only shiny objects we find. They’re really tempting but those things won’t last very long.
The fitness industry want you to believe that taking some supplements will solve your problem… or to do the latest HIIT program will get you into shape even if you hate dieting.
That’s why we’re at Training Unity believe in principles as opposed to tactics. Tactics are like shiny objects that people love to jump onto.
Principles however, are fundamental truths that help us (coaches) to give the best possible advice to our clients.
A couple of years ago we started a concept to train people in small groups together and create a small community. This is a game-changing concept in terms of serving clients and how that creates a sense of belonging and human connection which is vital for not only physical health but emotional too.
