Here’s a snapshot of my life when I was struggling with my weight:
I would wake up tired and hungry.
Dread the idea of stepping on the bathroom scale first thing in the morning, but couldn’t help myself from stepping on anyway – The scale didn’t budge from the day before.
“WHY??? What am I doing wrong???”
My daughter watches me through the open bathroom door. I feel depressed and guilty because I’m modeling my unhealthy body image to her. My daughter and I walk to the park. I huff and puff all the way there. I want to play with my daughter but I don’t have the energy.
I’m miserable.
And here’s a snapshot of my life today now that I’ve started doing this one thing.
I’m at my ideal weight.
