Hello, it’s your liver… Can we talk?

You and I have been through a lot together: ups and downs and everything in between. But lately I’ve been wondering: how well do we really know each other?

You probably know I filter toxins and poisons from your blood.
But you might be surprised by just how busy I am.

Believe it or not, I filter over 3 liters of blood every three minutes.

That means I filter 75 liters of blood every hour…
and a massive 1800 liters of blood per day!

And that’s just for starters.

Because like you, I’m a multi-tasker.
In fact, I perform over 500 functions vital for your health!

● I filter and clean your blood…
● I produce an important digestive liquid called bile,
which helps break down fat and flush waste from your system…
● I store energy in the form of a sugar called glycogen…
● I help prevent infections by making immune factors and removing bacteria from your blood…
● I play a key role in metabolism…
● I help clear away brain fog so your mind works quickly and sharply…
● And hundreds more!

As you can see, I’m busy.

And while I’m not one to complain, the truth is… I’m tired.

That is NOT your fault.

But we live in an increasingly toxic world.
And honestly?
It’s wearing me out.

Toxins are everywhere: The water you run from your faucet, the lotion you put on your skin, the shampoo you use to wash your hair, even the dust in your home is full of toxic chemicals.

And it’s my job, as your liver, to filter these toxic chemicals.

But it can be hard to keep up, especially when I’ve got so many other responsibilities.

In fact, many scientists and doctors believe that exposure to all these environmental toxins may explain why liver problems are skyrocketing right now in the UK.

How bad is it?

The British Liver Trust warns that 1 in 3 people in the UK have fatty livers — and those numbers are on the rise. I hate to let you down, but when I’m sick you feel it all over your body…

● You feel tired and fatigued…
● You struggle to lose weight…
● You feel stiff and achy in your joints…
● You look in the mirror and see dull, pale skin…

It’s not good.

Love,
~Your Liver
