Confidence Isn’t Found — It’s Built (One Tiny Action at a Time)

Confidence Isn’t Found — It’s Built (One Tiny Action at a Time)

When clients start with our 6 Weeks Kickstarter Program, I always like to coach them individually.

As we provide personal training services, it’s important to understand where the client is coming from and their specific needs. In order to have a full picture, I need to see what they’re doing day to day, what they’re eating and drinking, how much stress they’re under, how well they’re recovering from all the activities that they’re doing, or whether or not they move enough.

Once I understand the full picture, then I can help them more specifically.

For instance, if a client is not sleeping enough and constantly stressed but wants to lose weight, then we better lower the stress levels to promote more restful sleep first before dialing in any nutritional changes.

Or if someone wants to complete a half marathon but they have hip issues, then before ramping up on running we need to make sure that they can move well without any pain in the hips.

Two different examples, but they hopefully represent a full picture of the process.

I believe in simplifying the individual goal setting for everyone, and NOT to give them more than 3 simple steps.

Why 3?

3 is a low enough number that most people can tolerate when it comes to simple action steps.

3 is also a good number to fit in some of the most important habitual things to build, health, fitness, and recovery.

Then once we have our 3 simple steps or what I like to call them daily, tiny actions, then the client just needs to re-commit to their goals every day.

The re-commitment is a daily action. Which undoubtedly builds confidence by creating a momentum. Creating a streak if you will.

It’s about stacking up these positive habits on the daily basis that builds confidence.

Why?

Because it signals you the fact that you’re doing what you said you would do.

Even if you don’t feel like it.

Following up on the promises that we made to ourselves, builds self-trust, and confidence.

Psychologically, it’s a massive WIN.

It turns bad days into good-bad days.

As opposed to turning bad days into disaster days.

Ultimately, these tiny, daily actions build self-trust and self-efficacy, that you can handle challenges that are coming your way.

If you want to build an Unbreakable Strength and Confidence then our 6 Weeks Kickstarter might be for you.
