Celebration πŸ₯³πŸ•ΊπŸ»

When was the last time you celebrated any of your achievements?
I must admit that this is an area that I need to get better at. We’re led to believe that as soon as we achieved something we need to go on and pursuit the next thing.

A friend of mine did this experiment with his clients, and took them to hike a mountain.
He was observing them on the way up to see when was the first time they stopped.
Stopped and looked around. To enjoy the view. Most people only stopped once they got to the top of the mountain.

It’s very interesting.

Many of us do this in other areas of life.
I know I do it all the time. It’s always the next thing that going to matter. The next goal that going to make me truly fulfilled. Once I get there, then I will be happy.

What if we have a big vision/goal to lose 10kg. Or to be able to complete a marathon. Whatever the case maybe.

It’s important to have big audacious goals. What is even more important to learn to enjoy the process and stop to celebrate every small wins. I would go as far as celebrate after every day.

Celebrate the small accomplishments. Even if they seem insignificant. Keep celebrating.

There are some people who think that they have been miserable for a long time and all of a sudden they’re going to be happy.

…and there are those who stop and enjoy the view, enjoy the process and celebrate the small wins.

Who do you think will be truly happy and content once they reach their ultimate goal?
